Release Notes - Discord Sollicitatie Bot v1.0 - Initial Release

We are excited to announce the first public release of the Discord Sollicitatie Bot!

This bot is designed to streamline and simplify the application process for your Discord server. With interactive forms and automated submission, managing applications has never been easier.

Key Features in v1.0:

• Interactive Application Forms: Users can now apply for positions directly within Discord using interactive modal forms. Say goodbye to external links and messy application formats!
• Multiple Position Support: The bot allows you to define and manage applications for various roles or positions within your server (e.g., Police, Staff, Moderator, etc.).
• Customizable Application Questions: Tailor the application process for each position by defining specific questions. Collect the exact information you need from applicants.
• Automated Application Submission: Submitted applications are neatly formatted and automatically sent to a designated Discord channel for your team to review.
• Notification System: Optionally tag a specific Discord role when a new application is submitted, ensuring your staff team is promptly notified.
• User-Friendly Slash Commands:
  • /solliciteren: Initiates the application process, allowing users to select a position and open the application form.
  • /functies: Displays a list of currently available positions to apply for (ephemeral - only visible to the user).
  • /bothelp: Provides helpful information and usage instructions for all bot commands (ephemeral).
• Clean and Ephemeral Interactions: Most bot responses are ephemeral, keeping your channels clean and only visible to the interacting user.
• Informative Embeds: Utilizes Discord embeds for clear and organized presentation of information.
• "Coding..." Status: Sets a custom "Coding..." status, letting users know the bot is active and under development by CustomCodex.

Installation and Setup:

For detailed installation and setup instructions, please refer to the README file included in this release. It guides you through setting up the bot, configuring tokens, IDs, and customizing positions and questions.

How to Use:

1. Invite the bot to your Discord server.
2. Use the /solliciteren command to start the application process.
3. Use the /functies command to view available positions.
4. Use the /bothelp command for command information.

Customization:

This bot is highly customizable! You can easily:

• Add, remove, or modify the available application positions.
• Customize the questions for each position to gather specific information.
• Adjust notification roles and channels as needed.

Known Issues and Limitations:
