Keybindings

This page lists all available keybindings one can use within finsm. When reading a description, pay attention to the superscript at the end; they tell you which mode the keybinding is used for, or what functionality will shared keybinds have in a specific mode.
The list of superscripts are:
- U: Universal, i.e. available to all modes with the specified functionality.
- B: Only for build mode.
- S: Only for simulate mode.
- E: Only for export mode.

| RIGHT-ARROW | Advance to next character on tape. S |
| CTRL+Z | Undo last action (Windows / Linux). U |
| CTRL+Y | Redo last action (Windows / Linux). U |
| CMD+Z | Redo last action (macOS). U |
| CMD+SHIFT+Z | Redo last action (macOS). U |
| SHIFT-LEFTCLICK | Create new state, or select labels for edit. B |
| ENTER | Save and close editing label. B Edit a selected state or transition label B Save and close current tape. S |
| BACKSPACE | Remove rightmost tape character. S |
