Nmap is a widely-used command line utility used for network monitoring and discovery. With the help of Nmap we can monitor different network parameters.
DistributedMonitoring is a tool based on Nmap that is able to run multiple Nmap commands concurrently and apply transformations on those results. The goals of this tool are:
- fault tolerance
- concurrent execution of commands
- distribution of work among the components of the system or among replicas of components
