Where you and your friends can find events that you all like

Instructions

1. Download the repository using Git pull (look up how to do this on the github wiki)
2. Branch it so that you don't commit any changes to master right now: (again look up on wiki)
3. Attempt to commit to your branch
4. Git push to your branch

• You should be able to see your changes on your branch on the repo online

• Front End People: Make changes to your branch then merge changes with fe_master

• Back End People: Make changes to your branch then merge changes with be_master

• once stable builds made for fe_master and be_master, we will merge both into sub_master and then into master

Usage

1. Run the rails server by running the command: "rails s" or "rails server" after navigating to the application folder.

Events
- {server_root}/api/events -- look up all available events
- {server_root}/api/events/:id  -- search for an event by providing its id number
- {server_root}/api/eventsVenue/:venue_id -- searches for events at a specific venue
- {server_root}/api/events/search/:search_string -- search for an event using some keywords

- {server_root}/api/create/events/:person_id/:name/:description/:venue_id/:starts/:ends -- creates event and personevent associated with the creation of an event by user
- {server_root}/api/update/follow/:person_id/:events_id/:is_following -- updates 'following' field for specific event and user
- {server_root}/api/update/going/:person_id/:events_id/:is_going -- updates 'going' field for specific event and user

People
- {server_root}/api/people -- Get all the Users in the Application
- {server_root}/api/people/:id -- Get a User by his/her id
- {server_root}/api/people/search/:search_string -- Get a User by searching by username
- {server_root}/api/people/:id/events -- Get all the events the user is following/going to
- {server_root}/api/people/:id/events/following -- All the events being followed for user
- {server_root}/api/people/:id/events/goingto -- All the events user is going to

Friends
- {server_root}/api/friends -- get all friendships
- {server_root}/api/friends/:id -- get friends for a specific user

- {server_root}/api/venue -- lists all venues
- {server_root}/api/venue/id -- given a venue id, return venue
- {server_root}/api/venue/search/:searchString -- search venues for keyword

- {server_root}/api/create/venue/:name/:yelp_Id/:lat/:long/:address/:phone -- creates venue

Yelp
- {server_root}/api/yelp/search/:lat/:long -- Search for buinsesses around lat and long
- {server_root}/api/yelp/search/:id -- Given yelp id, gives additional information about specific buisness
- {server_root}/api/yelp/searchExact/:exactLocation -- Search for business at exact location or specifc area ex: brooklyn, nyc, 112 Water Street, etc.
- {server_root}/api/yelp/searchTerm/:term/:lat/:long -- search for buisnesses in lat long coordinates with specific term (movies, food, hot dog, etc)

Instagram
- {server_root}/api/instagram/search/:lat/:long -- serach for pictures given lat long
- {server_root}/api/instagram/id/search/:venue_id -- search for pictures given a venue id
