Devote: A note-taking application for developers.

Team: Haifan Wang, Baljinder Benipal, Linnea Palmblad, Anushka Tayal (Team 204)
We meet MWF through the week. Meeting minutes are tracked here.
Here are some basic instructions for using Devote.

- Devote-Quit to quit the application (alt. close the application window).
- File-New to create a new note (alt. use the New button on the toolbar).
- File-Save to save the selected note (alt. use the Save button on the toolbar).
- File-Delete to delete the selected note (alt. use the Delete button on the toolbar).
- File-New Folder to create a new folder.
- File-Delete Folder to delete selected folder.
- File-Rename Folder to rename the selected folder (alt. double click the folder).
- Edit-Cut/Copy/Paste to use the clipboard (and so on)
- Format-Bulleted list/Numbered list to start creating a list, or convert selected text to list (alt. use the respective buttons on the toolbar).
- Format-Format Code to start writing text in code format (alt. use the (</>) button on the toolbar).
- Format-Font-Bold/Italic/Underline/Strikethrough to format the text accordingly (alt. use the respective buttons on the toolbar).
- Format-Font-Fonts to select a specific font to start writing with, or convert selected text to.
- Format-Text-Align Right/Align Right/Centre align selected text accordingly.
- Format-Indentation-Increase/Decrease add or remove indentation accordingly.
- Format-Colour-Text Colour change the font colour of the selected text.
- Format-Colour-Highlight Colour change the background colour of the selected text.
- Click the (✓) button to add a check-box point to the note.
- Click the Move To... button to move the selected note to a specific folder.
- Click the Title of the note to rename the note title.
To install Devote, use one of the installers below. You may need to provide a password to authenticate the installation.
Version 1.3 represents the final product release.
