Important note

.zshenv was moved to $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/zsh/.zshenv To allow for this, wider system configuration needs to set the ZDOTDIR enviroment variable beforehand. This can be done in e.g. /etc/zsh/zshenv:

export ZDOTDIR="${HOME}/.config/zsh"
