Global configuration?

Hi, thanks for this plugin it is really useful! 
I have defined my `.onsave` and successfully tested it in a project but what I'm actually looking for is a way to define commands that are available globally (and apply depending on extension, as with current configuration options). Is this currently possible or is it something you see as a valid improvement?
