Question about Phase Error for Flexible Array

Hi Mr. Simson:
Impressive work! You presented a great framework for optimizing the SoS map for linear array beamforming. However, in your paper "Flexible Array Shape Estimation Using Differentiable Beamforming", you mentioned the phase error is also used to optimize the shape of the flexible array. Could you please explain how you modify the Common Midpoint settings in the flexible array case?

I have these guessings: 1) Only x coordinates are considered for calculating PE; 2) You enforce the symmetry of the estimated shape and thus VCZ theorem can be applied. Thank you for your open source project and look forward to your reply : )
