port forwarding

I tried to implement local and remote port forwarding (ssh -L and -R option), using the direct_tcpip and forward_listen channel objects, but I did not succeed. If someone could post a hint or even a code example and add it to the examples section, I would be very grateful. Thank you!

Hi, I have a same problem. When I use self.session.forward_listen(host, port, bound_port, maxsize), my program will exit with code 139. This definition should return Listener object but this class is not implemented. And when I use direct_tcpip(self, host, port, shost, sport), it will exit with same exit code.
Can someone post example with using forward listening? Thanks :)
