An ERP can vary substantially depending on the use case. A digital B2C business might have orders that are paid in-band (e.g. credit card) before they are shipped, a traditional B2B business might have orders that are paid out-of-band (e.g. bank transfer) after they are shipped after X days. A specific region might have different accounting and compliance rules than another. And so on...

We should focus on a specific use case in a specific region, and skip all non-relevant functionality.
