qemu instead of kvm ?

Hi,

on the compute node there is a config file

/etc/nova/nova-compute.conf

it contains a key

virt_type=kvm

It should be set to 'qemu' if no hardware accelerated virtualization is possible (as it isn't with virtualbox).

The setting must(!) be changed in /etc/nova/nova-compute.conf

Other conf files are ignored by nova.

I changed kvm to qemu in /etc/nova/nova.conf, because docs guide: http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/config-reference/compute/nova-conf-samples.html

Can you search with keyword virt_type.

Hm. Nope. It must be changed in nova-compute too. At least in my installation.

Maybe it would be better to let the user choose which method he wants through the script: qemu or kvm.
