Abstract

Container - not a new concept but let's play around with it, this is an introduction to Container. We are going to build Sidekiq container in docker-compose and interact with it using the guide here.

I'm Waleola Akinsanmi (Wale), I am the founder of Sabilink, the mission of Sabilink is to support entrepreneurs while empowering youths with technical skills. Although I am not a professional Ruby developer, I worked as a mobile developer, web developer (React and Nodejs) and Devops. I managed a Ruby project that used Sidekiq heavily on Amazon ECS and I setup this environment to learn how Sidekiq works.
