Describe the bug

I have takbar on the right side of the screen. In the previous version of ExplorerPatcher the start menu appeared correctly at the top-right corner. But after today's update, it appears at the center or the bottom-left corner only, no option in the settings to bring it back to the top-right corner.

Expected outcome

When the taskbar is on the right side of the screen, the start menu should appear at the top-right corner.

The start menu appears at the center or the bottom-left corner only. No option in the settings to bring it back to the top-right corner.

which start menu are you using? windows 11 start menu or windows 10 start menu?

and since you didn't tick it: In EP properties application, click on file explorer, untick register as shell extension and click restart file explorer in the bottom left corner.

The menu is Windows 11. The option "register as shell extension" is not enabled (X).

I have the same issue, though I keep the taskbar on the top not the right. With the recent Windows update, the start menu seems to always open up in the bottom left, no matter where the taskbar is positioned. I also have the start menu set as Windows 11 style, but switching it to 10 and restarting file explorer did not change where the menu would open.

Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2 Build 26200.7623

Explorer Patcher is 69.6 (and "register as shell extension" is off)

Microsoft made some changes to the start menu again, so that's probably what is causing this.
