Cannont Uninstall #4820

Before reporting your issue
- I have confirmed that this issue does not happen when ExplorerPatcher is not installed
- I do not have "register as shell extension" enabled
- I have tried my best to check existing issues
Repro ExplorerPatcher versions
ExplorerPatcher: 26100.4946.69.6
Repro Windows Versions
Windows 11pro 25H2 10.0.26200
3rd party tweak software installed
None
Describe the bug
- renamed ep_setup.exe to ep_uninstall.exe
- run ep_uninstall.exe as administrator.
- get error popup
- restart explorer.exe from task manager
- rerun ep_uninstall.exe as administrator, same result
- reboot
- rerun ep_uninstall.exe as administrator, same result
Expected outcome
EP Uninstalled
Actual outcome
No change
Additional info
This issue is mostly of my own making. I did not verify that all my virus software was disabled.
As a result although EP is installed the start menu does not work. I am attempting to uninstall to get get back to the default.
