Does not support standard XDM configuration files (?)

Doesn't seem to source Xsetup or similar files on startup; I've got shell scripts I use to configure my displays on startup, and although they work fine with the standard greeter, changing to this greeter prevents them from loading.

Does it require a specific location or name, or is it not supported? The lack of documentation prevents this from being clear.

how do you run your script and where is it located?

the greeter itself doesn't source anything. the only things that may affected is setting environment variables, especially PATH

This is just using standard XDM configuration files under /usr/lib/X11/xdm. The standard greeter will automatically run Xsetup every time it starts, which is useful for things like setting the background and such.

This doesn't occur with the GTK greeter. I'm not sure if there's an alternative way to run a script when it starts.
