USB integration

I am trying to find a version that will allow USB interfacing. The Snap package says it will, and yet on my machine, despite all the settings, it will not. Anyone have any answers? I am on Zorin 17.2. The flatpak will not, nor will version 45 Snap. Zorin version says it will, but it will not display properly, and that is a huge issue all its own. Plus, in audio, there were terrible clicks and delay in the latency trying to record from my Focusrite. I spent about 7 hours trying to track down a solution, but eventually gave up out of frustration.

Same thing here.

$ snap info gnome-boxes | grep USB
  - Redirect USB devices from your physical machine into virtual machines.

But even the following, suggested on some forums as a fix, didn't work:

snap connect gnome-boxes:raw-usb

Devices & Shares still shows an empty list of USB Devices.

same problem with gnome-boxes snap package (latest version 45.0). I tried this command too:
snap connect gnome-boxes:raw-usb
but Devices & Shares still shows nothing under USB Devices.
maybe :removable-media could fix USB redirection in order to connect usb devices to vm guest. I see a closed issue here #26 and a pull request (to gnome-boxes 47) #28

Enable and fix support for USB redirection (requires some manual intervention, so added a new dialog to inform the user about).

it seems gnome-boxes snap version 47 is still not available.
