Softlock: Mobile vehicle bay requires cyclops upgrade module

I can't build any vehicles because the Mobile Vehicle Bay requires a Cyclops upgrade module, which requires a Cyclops to build, which requires a Mobile Vehicle Bay to build.

Which upgrade does it require? Mk2 and Mk3 upgrades are crafted at a Modification Station and if you don't have "Enforce Vanilla Upgrade Chains" enabled then those recipes won't necessarily require a MK1.

You're right! I think it is a Mk2 or Mk3. I completely forgot that they are crafted in a modification station and not a Cyclops!
The Mobile Vehicle Bay requires Polyaniline and a Cyclops Depth Module Mk2. No idea what Polyaniline requires, I think I might have to pick a Deep Shroom to unlock the recipe? (I had to pick up a creep vine sample to get the recipe for something else that didn't need creep vine.)
The Modification Station requires a Sea Crown Seed, but I can't remember what habitat they grow in.
Currently, my only vehicle is the Air Bladder and Fins (and a standard O2 tank), so this is going to be tough.
Thanks for the mod, it's a lot of fun. I can continue my hardcore run. (Except Save and Quit doesn't work, so I have to save then Alt-F4. One time after Save and Quit didn't work a few times, I hibernated my computer instead, but when I came back every recipe except scrap metal all reverted to vanilla ingredients. Exiting and reloading fixed it.)

Yes, recipes are still unlocked the vanilla way, by collecting a specific item. I think you should craft the High Capacity tank.
I also have the saving issue. What I do, is have the Autosave mod installed and have it save every 15 minutes and then when it is time for me to end my session, wait for the autosave to kick in and then Alt-F4. I have had the revert to vanilla recipes bug a few times now. What has triggered it at least twice, was hitting save&quit. All items also disappear from the world and the autosaving also stops occurring.

Could you elaborate on the saving bug? Is this in hardcore mode?
