Feature request: Disable screen blanking while running a beat

Hi, first of all this is IMO the best metronome app that is available on Fdroid. Thank you!

What I like very much is the visual beat on the bottom of the screen. However, it becomes invisible once the screen is disabled after the normal (system-wide) configured timeout. Can we add a feature that would allow the user to keep the screen on indefinitely while a beat is running?

Hi, thanks for the interest in the app.

There is an option, called "Keep screen on". This (at least theoretically) should keep the screen on. However, it doesn't differ between if a beat is running or not. Or is this option not what you need and I understood your comment incorrectly?
