Change the sound icon behavior

Suggestion: instead of becoming red (not very nice nor explicit IMHO), the sound icon could be just striked when the sound is inactive and normal (not striked) when the sound is active.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I am not so sure if your described behavior is intuitive. Imho, in such a behavior it is always unclear if the icon describes the current state (e.g. is muted) or the state change it will trigger (e.g. mute sound after press). So if you have a striked icon, does it mean, that the sound is muted or does is mean, that it will mute the sound after pressing? By changing the color to red it should be more clear that it describes the state.

But based on your feedback, also the current behavior seems not so explicit. Good question, if it there is a better way ...

There is now a new icon in v4.6.1. Please let me know your opinion or let me know further suggestions :-)

Thanks for taking in account my suggestion.
The new icon is more intuitive.
The type of icon for the sound could be perhaps more "sober" (simple in design?). I think about something like the one used by
https://www.f-droid.org/fr/packages/raffarti.simpleadvancedmetronome/
In this app, a thin red line indicates if the button is activated or not. It could also be a red point into the button. These both types remind how real buttons work and indicate their state.

Thanks for the feedback. Simple designs seem to be quite a challenge :-). A thin red line at the bottom works not as well for buttons in the toolbar, I guess, a red dot might be more appropriate. I will give it some time to think it over and to not change it too often too quickly :-).
