instance fail when it use gd functions

When nodejs instanse started by cron (sh script) or by init it fail when node try run any of gd functions
But! when I start it from command line manually it works fine;

Issue was generated on two different server (ubuntu server 10.04, 11.04) and local computer (ubuntu).

Node don`t catch any exceptions of this, it just die;
