Issues when using custom tag

I'm trying to use a custom tag to pick media to display on my display. The issue I'm currently running into is that after tying in a tag and selecting "save" I'm getting the electricobjectslives feed. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but no matter what I do the tag ends up as an empty string so the code defaults to electricobjectslives.

ok, I think I figured this out, at least partly. I feel like this must be an issue with flickr. I've marked some videos and images with a tag, but only the images are showing up under "Everyone's Photos". Not sure if this is a flickr cache thing or something else.

@chrisdrackett i've successfully uploaded mp4 videos to my photostream on flickr, tagged them all, then played that "playlist" using the tag I used on the EO1 without issue. I guess the test would be to query the searchphotos API here and see what comes up: https://www.flickr.com/services/api/explore/flickr.photos.search (using your tag, your user id and your API key)

I see two "photos" (one video and one movie) for the tag eo8133, but when I put this in the app only the image is shown. I have seen this movie play as part of my personal photo stream, which is why I picked it for this test.

something funky with the API, I think: if i go here:

I don't see that one.
But if I go to it

and then scroll down and click the eo8133 tag, it shows up.. but if I reload it goes away.
Maybe try deleting that one & upload it again, while tagging it eo8133 ? strange...
