Dev instructions

I'm a dev but haven't ever worked with android. That being said, I'm willing to try and put in some work on this app. It might be nice to have some instructions to getting started, especially as I'm sure this is an older version of android and things might be a bit different?

@chrisdrackett yes, it is definitely developed for a old version of Android (version 33). "Android Studio", which most Android developers use, however, can open it by cloning the repo and pointing to the folder. Anyway anything you'd like to contribute would be welcome!
