I haven't updated this in a while, since I need a binary plugin (see discussion here xbmc/repo-scripts#361). Once Leia is about to release I intend to update it and add it to the kodi repository. Until that time it is a bit too 'hackish' for release in my opinion.

Btw, I haven't used it, but I think this plugin https://github.com/beardypig/plugin.video.streamlink will simply let you use your local version of streamlink in kodi.

I am already using the beardypig plugin, was just curious on testing your player with my setup.

It's good to see others working on a Kodi Streamlink module as well.
