problem with accessing /dev/ttyUSB0 when running the container as user and not as root

This is how it looks like inside the container when running as user smarthome.

crw-rw---- 1 root 18 188, 0 Okt 26 22:37 ttyUSB0

Even adding the user 'smarthome' to the group dialout doesn't fix the issue.

Hello,

did you try whether the user has access to ttyUSB0 on the host?
(e.g. become the user that is running the container and do a cat /dev/ttyUSB0)
