Brave Extension

It seems that this extension does not function properly on brave browser. I cannot get the extension to recognize find the installation. I am on Arch Linux and I built the package from the AUR.

Brave browser is based on the Chromium, so the script "install.sh" that configures Chromium, Chrome and Edge should be slightly adapted in the same way for Brave.

I don't have Brave. Could you investigate and share your findings?

First install the webextension (ZIP) manually in your Brave. It will give you an ID.

Please have a look on the source files:

ArrowDL\web-extension\setup\unix
- install.sh
- uninstall.sh

There's a line or two to add maybe.

Thus duplicate the chrome manifest maybe and call it "launcher-manifest-brave.json":

ArrowDL\web-extension\launcher\unix
launcher-manifest-chrome.json

And replace with the ID.

Hey I am having the same problem as well. I have copied the "com.arrowdl.extension.json" file to ".config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser/NativeMessagingHosts". I havent changed the contents of the file. now the extension has detected the path and giving me "Okay" status. But still can't download any file with the extension and the icons arent showing either.

Do you have any idea on how to fix it? I'm on mint by the way. and thank you in advance
