The parsing of script calls with ":" style parameters, rather than "(...)", deteriorates for sequences of scripts that have this style of calls in their bodies. This is not just about slow performance; the speed can completely deteriorate, so that compiling a simpel file may take minutes or maybe hours, days or worse.
The parser seems to use backtracking, whereas the syntax does not need this, or at least should not need it.
TBD: create a proper test for this problem.
