getModis downloads empty HDF files #25
Description
Strictly following the workflow of https://rspatial.org/modis/2-download.html leads to empty HDF files being downloaded.
Opening the HDF file in Editor shows the following text:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<html><head>
<title>401 Unauthorized</title>
</head><body>
<h1>Unauthorized</h1>
<p>This server could not verify that you
are authorized to access the document
requested. Either you supplied the wrong
credentials (e.g., bad password), or your
browser doesn't understand how to supply
the credentials required.</p>
</body></html>
Using the same credentials works, when manually downloading the files in EarthData.
Does anybody else experience this issue or is it a local issue?
