Deploy root on pip

Explain what you would like to see improved and how.

Hello Root team,

It would be really interesting to deploy Root on Pip to facilitate the management of projects which rely on pip/poetry.

Currently the only supported package manager is conda, which has a poor integration with poetry for example.

Would it be difficult to package root for pip?
I don't know how to do it but with some explanations, i would be highly motivated to help you do this.

Hi @don4get ,

Yes indeed, having a ROOT deployment on pip would ease the integration with the rest of the Python packaging ecosystem. It is definitely not trivial, but it's on our radar.

Thanks to @vepadulano, the next release of ROOT will be available for pip!

An experimental pre-release is already installable: https://pypi.org/project/ROOT/0.1a8/
