On Fedora 41, when generate an initramfs with busybox, the resulting initramfs size is approximately 32MB. However, without busybox, the initramfs size increases significantly to around 48MB. The difference is because when busybox is not present, the programs and libraries for mounting squahfs need to be packaged into initramfs, which is quite large.

Given that RHEL-10 does not release busybox, I suggest to implement or maintain a lightweight alternative (similar to busybox) in kdump-utils for generating smaller initramfs images.
This will greatly reduce the occurrence of OOM issues, and for Fedora users, it does not require users to explicitly install busybox.
