You must also set the TTS service, TTS language to be the same as the ones you use in the pipeline. I tried this setting and it works.

You can simulate an automation in which you use the play_media service and select tts as the source, choose the language and voice and write the message

Then select view in yaml, from the tree dots menu, and copy from media_content_id the data you need, tts service and language

Even if in the yaml view the message is written with other characters, you can delete those characters and replace them directly with your message, that is παρακαλώ,

You can test it with run from the tree dots menu before copying the data in visual stream assist integration.

For some reason i have 2 Home assistant cloud options in TTS but no edge TTS option.

When i did the guide i just used one of the 2 home assistant cloud TTS option (the second one). I will try the Top one now and check. The strange thing is that the replies work correctly in Greek. Its just the wake work detection responses that were not working.

It's good, for TTS service write tts.home_assistant_cloud, and for TTS language, everything after language=, el-Gr&voice=AthinaNeural

I had tts.home_assistant_cloud but its not working. If the change i made still doesnt work i will try with edge tts

Hi, i managed to get this working last time with edge_tts but now its not working again.

Any chance you can make your configuration page to select tts service and tts language from a list?

That would be so much easier and eliminate errors. Also i cannot find a way to troubleshoot this as going to voice assistants debug, nothing shows up for the wake word responses..
