Tests don't pass from a fresh clone

After cloning commit 9410677 and running cargo test they don't all pass.

I get failures from:

    exl::tests::test_write
    fiin::tests::basic_writing

And either: patch::tests::test_add_file_op or patch::tests::test_invalid when not run on a single thread

Some CI might be nice 🙏

That's strange, the CI disagrees with you there. Which operating system are you running the tests on?

Yeah :/ That one is a known issue, I need to take a look again and see if there's something I can tweak with the test runner.

There's some output including cargo version, and some git command output

I'm on Windows 10.

If there already is some CI, oops. I didn't really check and just made an assumption. I'll go remove my foot from my mouth.

I reran the tests on WSL (Ubuntu) and all passed fine

So thinking about it, I think it comes down to that root.exl file. Clearly some Windows oddity is causing it be checked out differently than on Linux (line endings maybe?)

The reason for this I think is why those specific tests are failing and nothing else, those all depend on root.exl in one way or another.

I do have a few other things on Windows I need to look at later this week, so I'll check up on this as well.

Yep, it was line endings, running dos2unix on the resources directory fixes it
