Investigate motion in the frequency domain

Visual sensory neural activity is subjected to a variety of processing before, and after, reaching the cortex. An investigation is required to determine whether the 4D processing of visual sensory data is applicable in any way to auditory processing.

This has been in my mind for a while. But as I read David J. Heeger's work, at The University of Pennsylvania, from the mid-80s modelling the extraction of image flow. I see recurring sensory processing.
