InfluxDB::HTTP connect to https influx endpoint

Hello,
Though this might be unusual, I had requests to support https connections to influxdb on this project: oetiker/SmokePing#201. However, the scheme used by you is hardcoded to http. Are you interested in extending it to support HTTPS (with optional self-signed certificates)? You'd need a few extra options when setting up a connection, but the underlying LWP should support HTTPS.

I don't see why this would be considered "unusual." Does anyone run unencrypted anything these days? Even over a trusted internal network, everything in my network is encrypted. This project seems pretty dead, since there's a PR from 2019 adding TLS support...
