Is EMU-2 Block pricing programming guide available anywhere?

I've had one of these meters sitting in my basement for a few years now and have never utilized the data. The contents of this repository are a start, but there's a lot of things wrong with it. John Lee has moved on in life and Rainforest has moved on to bigger and better things, and there are bugs in this repository which may never be fixed.

Please, if possible, can you provide any documentation regarding the serial API? There are things in this repository which have been broken for six years and I have no idea what units or parameters are required for half of the functions. I'd like to spend some of my own time to make something a little nicer for everyone else who has this meter. There must be dozens of us! Dozens!

I have done a simple port of this code to Python3.x,
added a few notes, and
have fixed a few things that I have found to be inconsistent with my EMU-2 purchased in May 2021

I managed to get it working in Python 3, but the entire API is kind of a mess.
