Error during initialization: Error: spawn Unknown system error

Hi TMC Team,
I’m experiencing an issue with your plugin, TMC, v3.1.0.
The problem occurs when I started install the plugin.

Here is the error message I received:

I am using Visual Studio Code version: 1.97.2 (user setup) on Lenovo X13 Yoga I5, Windows 10 Enterprise (OS: Windows_NT x64 10.0.19045)
Could you please assist me with this issue? Let me know if you need any more information.

Hi,
We just released a new version 3.1.1 which has improved error messages. Can you try again and see what the error is? (Make sure to go to the settings first and set the Log Level to verbose)

Okay, looks like the error itself just doesn't have any useful information. It could be an antivirus or some other security setting preventing it from running, but it's hard to say.

Can you try running the tmc-langs-cli-x86_64-pc-windows-msvc-0.37.0.exe executable mentioned in the logs manually? Both by double clicking it in the file manager, and through the terminal. You can enter %AppData% in the file browser's address bar to find the AppData directory and go from there.
