Resyndicate an item zapped by accident

Is there a way to resyndicate an item that was zapped by mistake? Manually checking for new items doesn't do it. Clearing the plugin cache doesn't, either. Is there another way to accomplish this?

@eriksandall I use fwp-bulk-zap and I get a "Retired" section in the posts list. Hope you find it useful :)
