Release new tag with changes supporting blueprinter-activerecord

Hey friends, hope you're doing well!

We (HopSkipDrive) are currently replacing an extremely old AMS serialization situation with Blueprinter. Of course it's very easy and smooth, but we noticed changes in main which haven't been released. One of those is the support for extensions which I'd like to contribute to changing, but until we're actually using it, I'm a bit hesitant about. Without those changes deployed, the blueprinter-activerecord gem doesn't have anything to hook into.

We could fork or dangerously point our Gemfile to main, but ideally y'all could get together a new release. Any chance that's in the cards for the near future?

Thanks for calling this out. We're definitely due for a new release here, but the extension hook should still be functional in the current 1.12 release; it's just in Blueprinter::Base at the moment:

The relevant changes in main that you referenced were part of a refactor to encapsulate a lot of the "rendering/serialization" logic in a single spot.

In any case though, I'll get a new release together shortly!
