Unsupported operating system: trixie

When I try to install with this script, it is not working with the actual Rasberyy PI OS. I get this message:

Unsupported operating system: trixie

There is no option to find an older Raspberry PI OS with the Raspberry PI Imager Software.

Allsky does not yet work with the new Trixie operating system.
Please use Bookworm instead.
We will announce in the Allsky GitHub Discussions page when Trixie support is available.

Ok so I just set this up. LOVE THIS REPO, thanks for it!

Note

You can use the raspberry pi imager, you just have to scroll down to the bottom and choose custom.

Then use the image mentioned in the readme: RaspiOS Lite ARM64 Bookworm

You can use the config options to set your user/pass, wifi, and ssh.

From there I didn't use putty, i just ssh'd in and ran:

sudo apt update

sudo apt upgrade

sudo apt install git

git clone https://github.com/playfultechnology/RasPBX.git

cd RasPBX

chmod +x install

sudo ./install

Note

when phase 1 gets to raspi-config, don't change anything just exit, because we already set all that up in raspberry pi imager. After it reboots just ssh in and run phase2

Important

If the script does not restart. you can manually call phases 2 thru 4.

cd into the RasPBX after each reboot

cd RasPBX

then fire off the next phase

sudo ./install --phase2

sudo ./install --phase3

sudo ./install --phase4

All in this took me about 45m and I was up and running with my trunks and extensions, even tied it into Home Assistant.

I managed to install it by manually editing the script checks and changing the repository from bookworm to trixie. The installation completed successfully, and I’ve tested the basic functionality, registration and call handling both work as expected.
