[Current Sweep] Similar results with either modulation

Description

While testing the Current Sweep example, I got the following results for the UpDwn modulation:

I then updated the overlay correctly, as instructed by the example and got the following result:

I do not understand the difference between the two. Theoretically the sweep in Center Aligned should only give half of the current triangle. However, it does give the correct shape, albeit with an offset.

It is hard to use center aligned modulation for measuring the ripple current.

In practice in Left aligned your ADC trigger is a comparator with the carrier signal counting. The comparison of this comparator gives a single intersection.
In center aligned your ADC trigger comparator is compared with the signal counting and decounting resulting in two intersection.

This is mitigated by defining "uprising" trigger that only takes rising edge comparison. But there are limitations :

• A singularity when reaching 50%
• You can only trigger between ]0%, 50%[ of the counting period.

That said, I'm not sure to fully understand the result you got, but it is definitely not accurate.
Maybe the explanation above can be added to the README somehow ?
