Couple of questions from someone who was looking for a software exactly like this

I was looking for a simple yet detailed software for 2D animation, especially vector animation, text animation and 2D vector shapes animation. This software seem to be built for that. UI looks beautiful. So I want to invest my time in learning this and using this for my professional work.

So I've a few questions about this:

1. Why a fork of enve instead of contributing the existing software enve? Like, is there something that wasn't possible with existing software? Or there are other reasons?

2. Is there a good future of this software (Friction)? Can we be hopeful that development would continue in coming years?

1. Long story short. enve was a dead project when I got involved, so I forked it.
2. Maybe :) As with everything open-source it depends, could be dead next week, could last for decades.

Makes sense. Now, I see you're the one developing it and you're probably the only developer? I can't see any other contributors listed on the repository. So I guess the future depends largely on you.
