Issues in path of tesseract in train.py

I specified the path of my tesseract correctly but still have this error.

or there is something wrong with my installation in OCR?

as the error log ... the tesseract folder is not accessible by the script , you should change permissions or run the script with sudo

this is a 3 year old thread but for Ubuntu these are my directories - note the TESSERACT_BIN and TESSERACT_TRAINDIR are not based off of TESSERACT_DIR as in the train.py and are different

TESSERACT_DIR='/usr/share/tesseract-ocr/4.00/tessdata'
TESSERACT_BIN='/usr/bin/tesseract'
TESSERACT_TRAINDIR= '/usr/bin'

this successfully generated a trained file for me
