drive push doens't sync files

As the title says , whenever i clone the directory from my drive via '>>drive clone id-of-this-directory' , it gets downloaded normally .
however when i change the directory into it , and then make adjustment to any of the files contained within , the try pushing the new modifications , it doesn't make any change to the google drive directory ,it only outputs this message
checking for changes in 'text_files' .... Working directory is clean

@funtime1818 can't recall to be honest , but i'm sure that i've switched to gdrive back then .
