Overview on excalidraw library changes #900
Description
The goal of this issue is to get an overview on what changes we have done and what we may have to do, so we have an overview and know what to maintain and what to rebase to new versions or bring upstream

Collection of ideas where library patches could help us
- Registering menu items in the toolbar
Maintained branches
- release-base-0.18.0 (current release branch)
- master (@grnd-alt Please provide some context on the state of master, do we need the changes there or are the relevant parts in the one above?)
I'd also like to come up with a strategy on how we do changes there, can do backports to the version we use, track upstream proposed pull requests, but also keep up to date with upstream work and releases.
@grnd-alt Could you try to draft some process for this?
