Filename issue

First off - great work. Exactly what I needed. I've just ran the script and have had a few issues - mostly to do with relative paths. This may have just been my lack of knowledge with R, to do with running on Mac, or I don't know.. but I "fixed" by just putting the absolute directory paths in.

The main issue, though, was the output path. I kept getting a large CSV (great!) but a single NA.gpx. I "fixed" it by replacing the date with just i (in make GPX file.r), so it produces 1.gpx, 2.gpx - 116.gpx

Note that the sample Meter.db you provide with the repo works fine without "fixes" and correctly outputs 2 gpx files.

Hi Simon,

I'm pleased to hear that you got it working.

If you're new to R, note that the relative paths will only work if R has got the right folder set as its working directory. That's the directory that all paths are relative to. If R is closed and I double click on the script to open it, it will open in R and automatically set the working directory to the folder containing the script.

If you're getting an NA.gpx as the output, it sounds like my startTimeLocalTimeZone.temp isn't working. I'll have a play with a current Cyclemeter Meter.db file and see if this is still working for me.

Thanks for the reply. Regarding the relative paths, I did try that (I think you mentioned it in the readme) but didn't have any luck. Again, probably me being new to R.

I've just gone to upload a .gpx file to Strava but had it rejected. Upon inspection I'm seeing that the <time> node in each file's metadata is also getting NA... so set to "NAZ". I guess this is the same issue. Again I've just applied a rough fix by setting this to the first co-ordinate's time: coorddatetimeLocalTimeZone.temp[1])
