Hi everyone!

We're working hard to keep improving the AI Chat Protocol and get closer to a v1 release. With that being said, we'd love for any feedback on the library/overall experience if you have any.

Hey @sateeshmunagala, this project is going to remain in pre-release form for the time being (no further major investments from us). The main reasons are:

1. Chat completion-based chat bots are a great scenario to reduce boilerplate for (which is what this library is for), but the size of this problem isn't big enough to support with general availability.
2. We are seeing AI systems move towards agentic functions, which this library hasn't tested for - this was for 'last-gen' AI systems that use simple RAG.

Please let me know if you're using AI Chat Protocol today and how if you can, we're always curious on scenarios it supports right now and potential gaps we can fill as AI systems evolve. Without further signal from the community, we can't justify further investment.
