Sometimes I get the following response, which I believe means ChargePoint is running a Captcha or something that prevents python-chargepoint from functioning. Is there any (simple) way to get around this? It's a great help, thank you.

It hasn't happened lately, so I think it was just caused by testing, sending too many requests too close together. Closing.

update: I also think that Chargepoint is blocking access if it detects VPN use. I switched to a different VPN server and it worked again.

Switching to a machine not connected to VPN and only polling once a day fixed it, until about a week ago.

Now, I'm consistently getting this response. Any suggestions?

Error getting chargers

I've been getting the same error for a couple of weeks now, and I'm only trying to run it manually once every week or two.

It would be great to find a fix.

Chargepoint appears to be using Cloudflare in front of most of their services. Cloudflare will detect the VPN and present a captcha or other challenge to prevent bot attacks. I have only started looking at this, but I am guessing Cloudflare challenges are the thing that is getting in the way.

Fwiw, at the moment, the only endpoint I can see which is not behind cloudflare is homecharger-cph50k-na.chargepoint.com. (It probably soon will have cloudflare in front of it as they rolled the TLS certs yesterday, and right now it is likely a misconfiguration that it is not.)
