iOS 15.8.2, 15.8.3 - Unable to retrieve connected devices. Ensure iTunes is installed and can detect your device(s). / Mount failed with status: N/A and error: ImageMountFailed #175

Recently I began receiving error messages from iFakeLocation.
It was working previously with the same PC, cable, iDevice.

I have:

  • Rebooted the iDevice
  • Rebooted the PC
  • Confirmed that iTunes is can see the iDevice
  • Confirmed that the iDevice is unlocked
  • Tried running iFakeLocation with iTunes open
  • Tried running iFakeLocation with iTunes closed
  • Changed USB port
  • Changed USB cable
  • Tried another iDevice
  • Tried Brave and Chrome browsers

If iTunes is closed, the error is:
Unable to retrieve connected devices. Ensure iTunes is installed and can detect your device(s).

If iTunes is running, the error is:
Mount failed with status: N/A and error: ImageMountFailed

  • iOS 15.8.2, 15.8.3
  • iPhone 6s
  • Windows 11 23H2
  • iTunes 12.13.4.4
  • Brave Version 1.73.91 Chromium: 131.0.6778.85
  • Chrome Version 131.0.6778.86
