How can this be integrated with the currect addon-manager?

Hi @luzpaz,

This plugin manager isn't too much coupled with the FreeCAD code. And it's kind of a separate module from the start. I suppose it'd be definitely easier to integrate it with FreeCAD. I don't understand how it can be integrated with the current addon-manager. It was meant to replace the addon-manager. One can modify the GUI through the Qt Designer which is much easier than the current addon-manager's way to directly modifying the Python code to make changes to the GUI (AFAIK). During GSoC, it was only command-line API. I had been busy with the job lately so couldn't give much time. But overtime, I learned PySide, worked a little and developed a GUI.

It'd be great if you try using this and let me know how you think of this.
