Problem with big plant genomes

Hi, I tried raven for ONT asssembly on plant genomes. It fails for bigger genomes like Corn (2.3 GB) with poor N50 values and works through for crops with genome size less than 1GB (Arabidopsis, Spinach and Sugar Beet)

It gives very good result for Arabidopsis but decent results for Spinach and Sugar Beet.

I wanted to know what might be the reason for it to work well for genome size less that 300MB.
