How to listen for file open event in windows OS level using node js

I am developing opensource application just like NETDRIVE and WEBDRIVE, so in my application i am downloading all files and folders at once, it take time to download each and every file at once, So i searching for whenever user opens a file or a folder there should be a event triggered in my application getting path and name of that particular file or a folder.
In filemonitor npm there no open event triggered for windows, Is there any alternate method to get that open event. Please suggest me.
